A bit late with my review but we used rumseys to do our house move. I chose them after getting 4 quotes. They weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. It transpired that they offer very good value. We had two massive lorries and the staff that did our packing were nothing short of amazing. Made the whole move stress free for me as my husband was working away the two days they were packing up our things. We have recommended you countless times and thank you for making our move so easy

Did a local move for us. Stuff went missing (notably a souvenir pen that had huge sentimental value) along with a whole box we'd filled with the kids' favourite DVDs, books and music. The children still go on about those DVDs years later. The response, on complaint, was that the stuff would turn up in due course. Of course it never did and the whole thing left a very bitter taste in the mouth.

My mother used this company to move from London to Scotland. The sales pitch was perfect. Assured us that they would be extra careful which we paid an extra 2000 pounds may I add for this service. The move was in middle of covid restrictions. So items moved up to Scotland before she moved. On opening up everything there was so many items broken.not even wrapped inside boxes. Broken items as follows: 2 x antique clocks, antique sideboard, victorian glass vase, nest of tables, gold framed mirror.

Because we couldn't unpack everything because of covid restrictions and mum not moving up to Scotland straight away they have refused to give any compensation. We have wrote to the owner a few times and has been totally unhelpful and will not give us any of the 6700 odd we paid. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Its a disgrace that they will not even help pay for damages. Avoid like the plague.

Avoid using this business at all costs. Having lost a very expensive TV that was in their custody they said, despite only delivering back 6 TVs, their own inventory which stated they took 7 might be wrong and that their staff sometime make mistakes when counting. Unbelievable. Untrustworthy. Not even willing to consider that they might have someone in their team that is dishonest. When they collected my furniture some of the guys were drinking beer - its perhaps why they couldn't keep an accurate inventory. The manager Stuart refused to accept any responsibility and said that unless I prove that the TV left my house, he wasn't interested in helping me - his own teams inventory confirms it left!

These guys are extremely helpful. I needed to store most of my belongings and furniture during my house renovation. Everything was well packed and safely stored away in its own container and the cost was very reasonable, cheaper than most of the "self store" alternatives. I would highly recommend.

The worse experience ever. The driver's son even offered to hit my husband with a metal bar. the driver wasn't accepting the instructions of where to park as traffic was restricted. The driver and team locked up the lorry and left the lorry with all our belongings. We had to wait 2 hours for the manager to come with a spare set of keys and we have to move out all the furniture ourselves as the workers walked out. They were lazy, rude and dangerous. Do not recommend this company
