Report
We recently used http://smallmoves.co.uk/ to move us into our new flat. The price was very competitive for the amount of work (around 3 hours with two guys helping including myself came to 155). As for the actual removal, the people who did it were very heavy-handed and showed little care towards our personal belongings. Throwing boxes around, balancing them precariously on their shoulders and heads didn't exactly leave us feeling like everything would get there in one piece.
However despite some small breakages (like a teapot and some crockery) everything did make it in one piece and due to their huge Luton sized van http://smallmoves.co.uk/ managed to move us in one go. On the plus side, Malcolm the guy who we spoke to on the phone for a quote and throughout organising the move was extremely helpful. He gave us multiple solutions for the removal at a variety of prices and was more than happy to answer our many questions and even let us ride in the van.
