Filehurst Associates is a privately owned family business. John Blundell established the company in 1980 having worked in transport & warehouse management since 1964. The company started trading goods (machinery & food) to East Africa and arranging transportation & warehousing. Then the company expanded by becoming the UK agent for two American toy companies, Tinkerbell Ltd and The Strombecker Corporation, importing their goods and providing all their warehouse facilities, packing & distribution needs.
Filehurst has provided warehouse services & seasonal overflow warehousing for both local and national companies for three decades. Many companies rely on Filehurst to manage their logistics; bulk ordered goods are delivered to our warehouse; we break them down into individual customer's orders and mail them out, with all the right paperwork. Our stock control system ensures that our clients (and their customers) know exactly where their stock is at all times.
We have a range of vehicles that we can put at your disposal, from a basic 'man in a van' through to a 44ft class 1 articulated lorry, so whether you need someone to provide a simple collect and deliver service or something much larger, we can fill your requirements. Sometimes our clients need their loads to be kept for a while between collection and delivery, so we store them in our secure warehouse for as long as needed.
