Great communication from start to finish.
Peter kept in touch during my house sale and purchase too as all took a lot longer than anticipated. He was then able to fit me in at short notice.
The team worked tirelessly on the moving day and afternoon before, making sure everything was loaded carefully and secured! Carpets and flooring were protected!
They were then there to meet me at my new property 2 hours away.
They unloaded everything and asked if they were unsure where to put anything.
Also dismantled and re-assembled furniture as agreed.
The team were friendly, courteous and made a stressful time much easier. I hadnt moved for 30 years so appreciated their kindness.
I would highly recommend this company.

Peter and his team did a wonderful job of moving us from a flat in Poole to a house nearby. Everything ran smoothly, from arriving punctually to putting our furniture in the preffered places in each room, and the many boxes ready for us to do the unpacking. Larger pieces of furniture were wrapped in protective covers, ensuring everything arrived in good working order. The team were polite and a pleasure to deal with throughout the move. We have no hesitation in recommending The Move Team.

The move team were fantastic! Highly professional and did an excellent job. Moving is a stressful time but Peter and the team were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help move us. I would highly recommend to anyone!

So helpful and nothing to much trouble
Its the second time Ive used them and I wont go anywhere else again.even when I asked them to a few more things on site there was no mention of any extra charges and it was like going back in time when the customer was treated as the number on priority

The Move Team were absolutely brilliant and handled our move with great care, humour and energy. Really lovely guys, nothing was too much trouble and they communicated throughout asking questions and following instructions with complete understanding of our needs. It was a real pleasure to have them in our home and I cant recommend them highly enough.

Kept informed of any delays. took great care in moving our piano which was somewhat unwieldily and heavy over a couple of difficult areas and approached the job with humour and care

After many quotes from the big move companies we decided to opt for the move team and boy were we glad we did,the price and service they provided were second to none,they made our move hassle free and were always on call when we needed them.

Dealing with Peter at Move Team was a pleasant and relatively stress free experience. Peter was very accommodating in moving our possessions out of storage into our new home and meeting a tight deadline. Would throughly recommend them.

The move team (2 on first day, 3 on second) were polite, hard working and nothing was a problem.

On the second day at our new home, furniture was placed as asked and moved without complaint if asked to move again.

The guys did not leave, until every task was complete.

The Move Team arrived on time, were polite, in good spirit and treated both of my homes and my belongings on move day with respect. I am a single parent and moving home was quite overwhelming but they made everything happen without any issues and were friendly whilst doing it. From the visit to my old home to quote to the last box and piece of furniture moved into my new home they were professional and polite and made sure everything was ok before they left. I definitely recommend them 100% small companies struggle to get a look in sometimes but The Move Team were amazing and definitely worth using!

I used The Move Team twice and both times the service was excellent. They arrived right on time, loaded and unloaded carefully yet swifly and were nice and professional. I recommend them from the bottom of my heart.

We are made up with the service we received. The two guys we had were absolutely amazing and very hard working. With no huffs and puffs. Was so quick and official. Would recommend you guys to everyone I know. Thank you for getting us in to our new home so quickly and efficient.

The move team helped me move today. They were very polite and helpful. Can't fault them. Would definitely use them again.

Terrible. Took 14 hours to move us in our one bedroom flat because we had "a lot of furniture" even though we had detailed exactly what we had when we booked. How would they ever manage to move you if you live in a house?! Also, we ordered the boxes in advance using the one/two bedroom pack as recommended by The Move Team. The movers turned up and said "yeah, you bought the pack didn't you? They're no good".

Why recommend a box supplier that you know is no good. We then spent the morning being sent out 5 times to find used cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and tape. When I asked how they managed with larger properties the answer was that "most people have already packed for us when we get there". But you're a packing and moving service?! Our complaint has been met with silence. Don't ever use them for a serious move. If you need to move a sofa then perhaps they could manage.

My girlfriend and I hired two guys for two hours, thinking we could work less after a hard week redecorating our new place. One of the guys was great, nice, helpful and really efficient. He took a lot himself. The other guy however was quite slow and obviously lazy, he stayed in the van most of the time stacking the things in it while his colleague and us were doing all the work.

He didn't even help my girlfriend when he saw her struggling with big stuffs and was obviously avoiding making too much effort. He made the whole job slower, it took more than 3 hours and i had to pay the overtime. I also think all of our stuffs would have fitted in the truck if they had been a little better organised an clever about what to put first.

But they decided to do it in two loads, again more overtime, more money. Well, it's in they interest after all. It proved to cost a lot more than what I had planned. When I checked my bank account few days later, I realised they took out 100 more than what I've been invoiced and certainly wouldn't have noticed if I didn't check.

A not so good experience. Edit: following that review, they looked into my case and were able to refund me 78 which was much appreciated. This didn't change what had happened during the removal but I guess the after sale treatment of this particular issue was fair. Which is why I reviewed my rating from 1 to 3 stars.

We used the move team on 6th April 2010. They tore a carpet in our previous residence and scratched and dented a very expensive stainless steel fridge freezer. We did not claim for the carpet but we tried to claim for a Siemens Fridge Freezer which was damaged by the removal men. The move team asked us to sign a disclaimer upon delivery of the goods, which would waiver any rights to claim for damages.

We refused to sign the actual disclaimer but signed to say we had paid. We tried to contact the team on several occasions via email and phone about the damaged fridge/freezer but they refused to speak to us until we threatened them legally. We had a number of letters from their legal team but we gave up in the end. They will not pay you a penny if you have signed anything on the receipt.

We contacted trading standards about this and they stated what The Move Teams disclaimer contract is not legal! The Move Team advertise "We are fully-insured up to 20,000, so your fully covered!" Not so in our case and I am sure I am not the first disgruntled customer to have experienced the same dodgy 'disclaimer' contracts!
