Arrogant and rude staff. Unwelcoming. Be careful where you park when visiting they are quick to issue parking tickets. I was told verbally I can park within the parking and was issued a ticket in the post following week tried to appeal parking management company asked me for proof of verbal permission! How ridiculous.

On their website it is clearly stated that: "You can also arrange for deliveries and collections to be overseen by our staff free of charge. We can also arrange for parcel deliveries and collections to be overseen by our staff at no extra cost. All this and free 24 hour unlimited access." Unfortunately that is not the reality, as this is only for small packages, but not for ovens for example. The customer service is out of question too!

We had the misfortune of having to visit GBN Self Storage after our removal company placed our things there for storage, as our house chain was held up. We needed some items and so went to get them. We had to wait ten minutes before anyone paid any attention to us in reception. The place was stuffy and old, tucked around the back of a dilapidated estate like something you might expect from the 1990s.
That would be forgiveable if the product and service were up to scratch but they weren't. After having waited for some assistance, we then spent another twenty minutes faffing about as the staff attempted to locate our unit, all the while laughing and joking between them - far from professional. Eventually, we were shown to our unit and I have to say, while it is "just storage" as the staff member told us, the conditions left much to be desired.
We have valuable items and items of great sentimental value to us, but we didn't feel they were in safe hands. Security was poor to non-existent, some of the units looked like they had been forced previously, and while we were there (obviously some considerable time) we saw several people just walk in unchallenged. They could have been anyone, although the man on reception assured us that he was sure they would be "regulars".
Anyone can walk in and wander around the corridors, you'd be none the wiser. Appalling service from an arrogant team that should be focused on improving their product and service ethic, rather than joking around when customers are asking for assistance. The place could also do with a thorough clean. Avoid.
