Fred was great at sorting the best way and cost for me to have things packed and sorted so some went to storage and other items to the house. Paddy and Hugo spent all day packing and labelling boxes for me. Labelling was clear so I knew what was in each box (even down to my own wording of the “kitchen cupboard from hell”). The following day Paddy and Nick loaded things into the van and took them to their designated destinations.
A positive and stress free experience made even better by a group of genuinely nice people!

The whole experience was professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys moving us and they took great care of all our possessions. Fred was really organised and approachable doing the survey (via video call) and later via email. Also cheaper than the big companies.

We were so impressed with the guys from Macro. Fred was really helpful from the start. I was reassured by his ‘can do’ attitude and nothing was too much trouble. It was so easy to send a video to Macro and I had the quotation within hours. Paddy and James worked like trojans on Friday. They were polite, respectful and extremely careful with our things. Their van stacking was seriously impressive. Would recommend them wholeheartedly. Brilliant.

They were excellent. Excellent communication throughout, good value, turned up on time and did a good job. Really professional on the day and obviously took pride in their work. The movers themselves were really nice and I felt comfortable having them in the house unloading while I was looking after my baby daughter. They worked really hard and got loads done during the time we had them for. Asked me where I wanted everything, but also used their common sense and made suggestions when I was overwhelmed or preoccupied. Also did a great job of re-assembling 3 ikea wardrobes that had been taken apart by someone else (I would have had no idea where to start!!), including making a replacement piece when I realised I had lost one. Will definitely be in touch for our next move.

Fred and his team were fantastic on our moving day. Despite us moving from a top floor flat with difficult access, this didn't phase them at all. Can't recommend Fred and his team enough. Fred did an excellent assessment of my removal needs via a WhatsApp video call and was responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. On the day, Paddy and Nick arrived on time, made quick work of packing the truck with care, and were so friendly they really put me at ease on an otherwise stressful day. They delivered my possessions to a storage unit and packed everything away neatly. I would book them again for any future moves.

Macro have great customer service and good prices. Fred managed to fit in our move during a very busy period, he always called back when needed and called in the morning to confirm the team were on their way.
The team were great to have around and uncomplaining despite our very awkward location down 40 or so steps.
